Best Downhill Ski Destination
No need to get piste, we’ve got the winners for Best Downhill Ski Destination! In first place is Christie Mountain (Bruce) which has reigned supreme in this category for the past eight years with ski, snowboarding, and snowtubing opportunities. Afton Alps (Hastings, Minnesota), which is celebrating 60 years in the St. Croix Valley, came in second. Ranking third is Trollhaugen Ski Area (Dresser), which offers lessons as well as races along its 30 trails and three terrain parks. —Sawyer Hoff
