Wood carvers from across the Chippewa Valley got to showcase their work for the community on Sept. 16 at the second annual Carve-In on the Chippewa event, held at the Brickhouse Pub & Grub (2233 Birch St., Eau Claire) from 10-4pm. Folks got to view the work from 20 different carvers as well as live demonstrations including a live chain saw carver in the parking lot – a new component to this year's event.
The Carvers Guild meets at the L.E. Phillips Senior Center (1616 Bellinger St., Eau Claire) every second and fourth Wednesday of each month from 6-9pm and every Thursday from 1-4pm at the Chippewa Falls Senior Center (1000 E Grand Ave., Chippewa Falls).
