BEERS & BIKES! The inaugural 'Here to Beer!' event will take folks to Leinie Lodge and Brewing Projekt to enjoy some brews while enjoying the outdoors on their bikes, all while fundraising for community org, CORBA.

The first-time event is welcoming the Chippewa Valley to come together on a big community bike ride – with beer flights to quench your thirst along the way! – while fundraising for a community org on Saturday, July 22.

With 100% of the registration fees going to CORBA, the fully volunteer-led local organization dedicated to building, improving, and maintaining the Valley’s multi-use trails, folks are basically invited to get outside and enjoy local beer (and isn’t that already part of your summer plans?).

Everyone part of the group ride will meet up at the Haymarket Plaza in downtown Eau Claire between 9:00-9:55am for check-in and to receive their beer wristbands. Folks can even get their morning kick of caffeine in at SHIFT. At 10am, the big group will be off!

The route is a near straight-shot to Leinie Lodge, the ride winding through the Old Abe State Trail at a casual pace. Participants will enjoy their 4-beer sample flight – you pick the brew! – after arrival, and about an hour after that, the group will head back down the trail and land at the Brewing Projekt.

At the E.C. brewery, participants will once again get to enjoy brews, Brewing Projekt offering a special “biker flight” with three of their crowd favorites. Plus, there will be a food truck on-site if you’ve worked up an appetite!

And guess what? That’s it! The first-time event is meant to offer all the summer sunshine and fun, and for a good cause. Hop on the your bike, strap on your helmet, and let's get together.

Of course, safety is the highest concern for the organizers, so all riders are expected to follow the rules of the trail and road; helmets are required; traffic signals and intersections must be obeyed; and IDs will be checked at each venue to ensure all beer samplers are of 21+ (though those under 21 will be able to purchase other beverages).

Registration is $25/rider through July 19, ticket prices increasing to $30/ride after July 20. The registration fee includes your flights of beer at both locations. Snag your ticket online today!
