HAVE FUN & SUPPORT LOCAL. The Great Big Hullabaloo is a total takeover of the Pablo Center primed for all-day fun, but it's also a way to support a local non-profit. This year, we're partnering with Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Now that the word’s out about The Great Big Hullabaloo event making its comeback on Saturday, May 20, we want to remind folks that yes, it’s going to be wall-to-wall fun, but it’s also a way to support one of the amazing non-profit organizations in the Chippewa Valley. This year, we’re partnering with the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwestern Wisconsin org.

All of Volume One’s ticketed events also feature a charity partner that fits the purpose and theme of the event, event coordinator Joann Martin explained.

“It’s important to us that we celebrate and give back to local non-profits serving our community. Everything we do here at Volume One is meant to elevate and strengthen our community,” Martin said. “Big Brothers Big Sisters plays a vital role in our community and positively impacts the Valley with their one-to-one mentoring program.”

Big Brothers Big Sisters aims to create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships, its ultimate vision for all youth to achieve their full potential. That’s a hefty goal, and it’s been an ongoing mission for more than 50 years in our slice of Wisconsin.

THE HEART OF THE GREAT BIG HULLABALOO IS TO CELEBRATE CHILDHOOD AND ENCOURAGE KIDS TO KEEP EXPLORING AND LEARNING.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT & EVENTS COORDINATOR

“The heart of the Great Big Hullabaloo is to celebrate childhood and to encourage kids to keep exploring and learning,” Martin continued. “That’s exactly what Big Brothers Big Sisters is all about – helping all children achieve their full potential. So partnering with them for this year’s event just makes sense.”

10% of all Great Big Hullabaloo ticket sales will be donated to Big Brothers Big Sisters, so while the Valley’s kiddos are having one heck of a time exploring and playing at the Pablo Center during the event, they’ll also be part of giving back to a local non-profit.
